COVID-19 Procedure

Your health and the health of my staff are very important to me. Your feelings and concerns about COVID-19 now that things are “re-opening” is also on my mind.

Your legal matter is important to me.

My office staff and I are working normal hours in the office. I remain available after hours via email. We are welcoming clients into our office and look forward to seeing people again. However, we also have many clients that for one reason or another are not comfortable meeting in person.

We are leaving the choice up to our clients through the Summer. If you feel better about a telephone conference, we’re happy to do that. If you would like to come in to the office, we’re here for that as well!

In-Office Meetings

Distancing:
Please be mindful of social distancing recommendations. Our receptionist Amber will greet you and show you to a comfortable seating area if you have to wait for your appointment.

Cleaning:
My office will continue cleaning conference rooms and the reception area with bleach and Lysol aerosol products after each appointment. There is a short wait between clients so that we can sanitize our meeting rooms.

Visitors: We ask that you please not bring children to the office right now and that you limit people accompanying you to those absolutely necessary.

Hygiene:
We ask that you either wash your hands or use sanitizer upon arrival. My staff will happily show you to a hand washing station and/or we will provide 70% alcohol sanitizer.

Masks:
We will not provide masks . If you feel comfortable, we encourage you to wear a mask. We will still insist on acceptable distancing and hand washing.

Health:
If you are sick, or have recently been sick, or have a temperature, or live with someone who is sick and/or has a temperature, or if you have traveled outside the country in the past 14 days… please set an appointment by telephone or wait until you are well to come in.

Hearings

All hearings are being conducted telephonically through at least mid-October. If you have a hearing my office will send your dial-in instructions for your hearing. Please call in to the hearing and keep your phone on MUTE until your case is called. Several hearings are held at the same time as if you were in an actual courtroom and hearings are recorded for official purposes so it’s important to minimize background noise.
